December 3rd

 

    Today the project was assigned, and I set up our pages and added material. I added some movies and games, and talked to Cbass about our timeline. I also customized the appearance of the web page. Both Cbass and I are very happy with the way our wiki looks so far, and the work that we have done.

 

 

December 4th

 

    I really did not do anything today, but I did talk with Cbass, and we decided that he would do the reasearch, because he really likes doing that, and I would put it up on the webpage, and make it look professional. I cannot wait till we are able to start putting things together!

 

    I was really not happy with my laziness though. I really need to be a team member instead of sitting back. I think that I will do some reaserch of my own tommorow. This is an awesome idea for a project.

 

December 5th

 

    Today I did some research, on Arthrobacter globiformis. There really is not alot out there for our bacterium. Maybe we could get a new one? Unfortunately, we are not going as fast as either of us wanted.

 

December 6th

 

    I was sick today so I did not do anything.

 

December 7th

 

    Yay!!!!! We have a new bacteria!!! It is so much easier to find things as well. Cbass said that he was going to start finding material for our website, and he wants me to change up our web site and get everything about Arthro bacter off. Will do!

 

    Hopefully we can get this done in time... We do have a disadvantage. We now have less days to get it done.

 

 

(Over the next couple of days I did nothing due to a big paper that we had in English)

 

December 10th

 

    We did a lab to day at school, and we did pretty well. One of our bacteria did not grow though, so we are looking into why. The rest of the class had the same problem. I took some more notes today from the free web. I got 2 or three good sources from there.

 

    I did some more design on our page, and went ahead and got those notes up on the website. This is an intense project, and we really have a focus to get it done.

 

 

December 11th

 

    Only about a week of school left, and I am psyced. I am really happy that Cbass, and I are partners, because we work really we together. He did the research today, and I put it up for him on the website. Although he is doing most of the reasearch, I am putting up most of the material on the website. We are just really chugging along.

 

    I hope that we will be able to get an A on this project. I have seen some other people's and ours is not the best, but it is not the worst. I think we need to jazz it up a bit...

 

December 12th

 

    As the time we have left on this project is starting to count down, I am starting to feel the pressure. I do not know about Cbass, but I have really worried about how well we will do on this project. Many times I see myself wondering how we are going to get it done, but then reassure myself that we are going to get it done.

 

    This is probably one of the biggest projects I have ever done in my life, and I am really worried that we are not going to do as well as we want.

 

 

December 13th

 

    One more day until the weekend!!! We finished the lab we started yesterday today, and I am really looking forward to my results. I was the only one that did not gauge our McConcky agar, but that is ok. I am really looking forward to Christmas break, but then I remember that I am not there yet. This project is in my way, and it will be destroyed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

    Cbass and I plan to talk over the weekend and get our evaluations done. This is going to be one stressful weekend, because I have an all day Latin tournament on Saturday. AGGG!

 

December 14th

 

    Yay, today is the last day before the weekend. I will already tell you that I will not do one tomorrow, because I will not have any internet access from 7 am - 8pm. Today is also my grandmother's birthday, so I did no research or website building at all. Looks like procrastination attacks again!!

 

 

December 16th

 

    This is the last day of the project, and I am really feeling the heat. Looking down at my clock I see that I have about 20 minutes left before it is due. We added some more videos, and pics. We also have finished putting together each page. I am really happy with the way it looks. Cbass is too. At last we are at the end of this chaos, and will be able to enjoy our new website, and show it off to everyone.

 

    Thank you Ms. Tucker for this incredible idea for a project. I look forward to doing more of these in the future!
